- The MONSTROUS is the first car to have no manufacturer listed in the manufacturer field in-game. This is due to the fact that in RIDGE RACER canon, the manufacturer of the MONSTROUS is shrouded in mystery and never revealed
- The MONSTROUS is currently the only car in the game to feature special animations when using Nitrous and when scoring a successful Rocket Start. They were taken directly from Ridge Racer 6 & 7.[1]
- When a Rocket Start is successfully scored, 2 exhausts pop out of the car's trunk.
- When Nitrous is activated, 6 exhausts pop out of the car's trunk.
