The CELICA XX 2800GT MA61 is named "Vigor" after the backstory of how the current driver, Strike Yuto, acquired the car. After being stuck in a job he hated and considering ending it all, his life was saved by an older woman who asked him to go with her for a drink. As he listened to the woman talk away, he had a renewed vigor for life and decided to take action by finding a new job. Yuto became friends with the older woman, who then entrusted him with the CELICA, telling him to turn the car into "a car that cannot be beaten." The woman disappeared shortly after and was never seen again. Ever since then, Yuto has been driving all over Hakone, seeking to find his friend.
