Your Drift Spirits profile is always cloud synced with Namco servers, however that does not mean you can uninstall the game and expect to magically resume your progress when you reinstall.
Since it's Namco server based, you are given an ID and Password. Your ID is your unique player number from when you start the game and the password is a 16 character combination you cannot manually set. However you can randomly generate another one.
Backing up your account simply means to screenshot the account page or writing down your information.

When you start playing Drift Spirits or are just finding this out now, screenshot this or write the info down somewhere so you can log into you account if your device breaks.
Recovering an account:[]
After installing the game you need to proceed as normal until you get to the name select screen.
Here just press the other button and that's the log in menu. Input your info as you copied it and hit the bottom button to log in.
Notes[]
After a transfer there is a 3 day cooldown until you can do it again.
You cannot transfer gold between iOS and Android. Be warned.
